Hello, I am Gerry Duffy and with my wife Judy are the proud owners of The Scottish Nook.

I was born in Scotland and emmigrated to Canada in 1973, and while I love my new home, I remain a Scotsman at heart and brought with me all the rich traditions of my Scottish heritage.

I have enjoyed many years of experience in a career working at the corporate level for various industry leaders, and found the experience invaluable, however my dream was to share my Scottish heritage with others and offering a one stop shopping experience for a variety of UK imported goods and a kilt rental program for all formal occasions.

After long planning, and forming solid relationships with suppliers the dream was realized when my wife Judy and I opened The Scottish Nook in Nobleton in the beautiful countryside of King Township just minutes north of Toronto in York Region.

My wife Judy has perfected her hobby of quilt and jewellery making and examples of her work are available for purchase at the shop.

Our goal at The Scottish Nook is simply to offer our patrons the value of our years of experience and superior customer service. We are dedicated to providing a wide range of Scottish and UK fresh baked goods, dry-goods, meats, meat pies, gifts, quality shirts and other merchanidse.

The Scottish Nook offers complete kilt rentals of the finest quality for all formal occassions in 7 in-stock tartans. As always, you can count on our professional guidance from the planning stages of your event to it's finale.
